Below you will find a PowerPoint on how to determine the volume of 3D Shapes. Within the PowerPoint there are multiple choice questions for you try. Unfortunately, the multiple choice questions only work if you are using the most recent version of Microsoft Office. However, even if you do not have the most recent version of Office, you can still use the PowerPoint to help you go through the steps to determine the volume of 3D shapes.
I have also posted four videos below. Three of the videos are to help you remember the definitions of polyhedrons, prisms, and pyramids. The fourth video reviews what labels we use for perimeter, area, and volume.
Lastly, here are the important definitions that you will need for this section. Copy these definitions for your notes.
1. What are polyhedrons?
2. What are Prisms?
3. What are the differences between prisms and pyramids?
4. Labels for perimeter, area, and volume.
